Hello Elsie and Hillary! First of all, thank you soo much for Mudra Moments, it is truly a treasure. I wanted to contact you, for I reside in Toronto, Canada and have some information for your friend Nate (?) who is prepping for the Immersion this fall at Yoga Plus. It is true that there are only Anusara-Inspired teachers available in Toronto, but if you study with Michael Siddall (www.michaelsiddallyoga.com), his classes (upon agreement with John Friend) count as Certified Anusara Teacher hours to use towards the immersion. He does teach at two studios, one is Yoga Plus Eglinton and one is in RIchmond Hill (www.yogaplustoronto.com). As well, Barrie Risman is coming to Toronto as part of Yoga Festival Toronto in August (www.yogafestivaltoronto.org), and she will be offering morning Anusara classes during the festival. Depending on your level of studentship, Yoga Plus does also offer Anusara-Inspired Level 1 and Basics classes, which I am certain they will allow as part of the prep for the Immersion. Hope to see you there, Nate, I’m attending the Immersion with Todd Norian and Anne Greene myself, and have been studying with Michael Siddall for the past nine months.
